Anyone who has played the DuckTales NES game will understand this fully. 
One level in the classic Disney/Capcom game was the Moon level. It is best known for having a great level song and clever level design.
It's also notable for the fact that they just drop Scrooge McDuck off on the Moon without a spacesuit and then... well, he's not dead out there!
Isn't it a scream how video game logic works? Probably why it didn't need to follow scientific laws as long as it was fun.

It's not just game logic, it's cartoon logic! Also I love how the remake actually explains it by saying they are eating/chewing on Oxygen-taffy one of Gyro's latest inventions. So there you go we actually got an answer enjoy! lol
