Those who remember growing up in the 1980s know about a French/Canadian/Taiwanese/Japanese/American cartoon series made by DIC called Inspector Gadget. It was a series about a bumbling bionic detective who would get assigned a case to hunt down agents of a criminal organization named M.A.D. Unknown to everyone else, the case was actually always solved by his niece Penny and her dog Brain.
The (unseen) head of the M.A.D. organization was Dr. Claw, who would always send his agents out to commit crimes but would always vow that next time would be different once his plot was foiled.
Today marks the 30th anniversary of this classic 80s show. Go go Gadget nostalgia!
